The InstigatorGet ready for three action-packed days of sports entertainment when Cherry City Roller Derby’s Cherry Blossoms All-Stars host the “Petal to the Metal” annual junior roller derby tournament April 14 through 16 at The Mad House, 1335 Madison St NE.
Bringing teams together from across the country, the event will include Salem’s Cherry Blossoms, Pixies and Mob City Misfits Washington, Los Anarchists and Freaky Fridays from California and New England Skate Riots from Massachusetts.
Friday, April 14
5 p.m. — Cherry Blossoms vs. New England Skate Riot
7 p.m. — Cherry Blossoms vs. Pixies (B)
Saturday, April 15
10 a.m. — Santa Cruz Derby Groms vs. New England Skate Riot
12 p.m. — Los Anarchists vs. Mob City Misfits
3 p.m. — Cherry Blossoms vs. Los Anarchists
5 p.m. — New England Skate Riot vs. Pixies (B)
7 p.m. — Santa Cruz Derby Groms vs. Mob City Misfits
Sunday, April 16
10 a.m. — Pixies (A) vs. Santa Cruz Derby Groms
12 p.m. — New England Skate Riot vs. Los Anarchists
1:30 p.m. — Pixies (A) vs. Mob City Misfits
Purchase tickets in advance for the best price. Tickets are $12 in advance/$17 at the door per bout. Get a weekend pass for $25 in advance/$30 at the door. Take the family (2 adults and up to 3 youth age 6-17 or 1 adult and up to 4 youth) — a day pass is $25 in advance/$30 at the door or $50 for the weekend (available in advance only).
