Building on Alzheimer’s Stories’ final message of hope and the power of music, the second half of the performance will include a collection of smaller, moving choral pieces featuring violinist Caius Oprea.

“This concert has been years in the making and is particularly special for us as we have seen firsthand the devastating impact that Alzheimer’s can have on families,” said Solveig Holmquist, Founding Artistic Director of Festival Chorale Oregon. “We believe that music can serve as a powerful tool for healing and connection, and we are honored to have the opportunity to bring this message to our community through this performance.”

Tickets are $13 to $38 and are available at www.elsinoretheatre.com. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter.

Prior to the concert, there will be a free Community Talk with Composer Robert Cohen 5 p.m. Saturday, April 15.
