Fiber, Fashion, and Fun Take the Spotlight at Artists in Action’s November Art Show

Artists in Action presents its Fiber Arts Show, featuring textile-based artwork and the playful, wearable art “Upcycled Creations” Fashion Show, November 6–28 at Elsinore Framing and Fine Art Gallery, 444 Ferry St. SE, Salem. Opening reception: Friday, November 6, 5–8 p.m.; Fashion Show runway and judging begin at 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.

An open Call to Artists is now available for both the Fiber Arts Show and the wearable art Fashion Show. Submission fees are $30 for Artists in Action members, $40 for non-members, and $20 for students up to age 25. Artists may submit to the Fiber Arts Show, the Fashion Show, or both for the same fee.

Online submissions begin August 3. The deadline for online submissions is Wednesday, October 14th.
