105.5 The Moonlight Drive — Salem’s indie radio station is calling on listeners to take part in a one-night-only experiment. At 8 p.m. sharp, tune your car stereo to 105.5 The Moon, roll down the windows, and cruise downtown Salem as a special hour of live programming unfolds. It’s part trust exercise, part radio stunt, and part community happening meant to fill the streets with sound and connection. Artist Talk with Amber K. Ball — Artist Amber K. Ball discusses their creative practice, work featured in the Indigenous Northwest Biennial and the ideas that shape their approach. A contemporary Native multidisciplinary artist, Ball works across theater, multimedia and beadwork to explore Native pasts, presents and futures. Beginning September 12

Pentacle Theatre presents the Jo Dodge Acting Workshop — Join skilled director and actress Jo Dodge in a fun, hands-on 11-week theater workshop exploring the human spirit. Students participate in improvisation and scene work in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment. The focus is on individual self-development. This workshop is for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced performers. You must be 18 or older to attend classes. Hunt for Treasure. More than 100 handmade glass marbles will be hidden throughout Salem during The Great Marble Hunt, a citywide search for tiny treasures.
