Hear live music at Chemeketa

Experience a diverse lineup of live music at Chemeketa auditorium each month

Chemeketa Community College has expanded its musical offerings. In addition to continuing its Acclaimed Artists Series, the college has added the Night of a Thousand Lights series, which aims to present music in a more intimate, romantic setting and feature small ensembles and vocalists.

“The Acclaimed Artists Series was established to bring world-class performers to Salem to inspire our students and staff, as well as the larger Salem community. This year we are pleased to add a second series, the Night of a Thousand Lights, to bring smaller and more intimate concert performances to the community, as well,” said Kerry Burtis, Director of Music. “Both series will allow people in the greater Salem area to experience outstanding performers from around the world without having to drive to Portland. The concerts we have planned for this season are amazing, the parking is free, and we will even be serving wine and other refreshments in the lobby. Come to Chemeketa and see for yourself!”
