Movies in the Park returns to share four family-friendly flicks in the heart of downtown Salem this summer. To make the most of the experience, bring a blanket or low-back chair and arrive early to snag the best viewing spot. There will be pre-movie activities, which include viewing a smattering of old cartoons, shorts, retro clips and trailers, to keep the family entertained while you wait. Food and beverages are welcome, but no alcohol. Pack a picnic, or feast from one of the on-site food carts. Movies begin soon after dusk (start times are approximate).
