Tuesday nights are all about the tunes as Willamette Heritage Center, in partnership with Lively at the Mill (Lively Station’s new location), launches Music at the Mill, a bi-weekly music series.
Bring your friends, grab a seat on the lawn, and settle in for an evening of music, food, and summer vibes. Held every other Tuesday throughout the season, the series will feature a rotating lineup of bands. Whether you are coming to hear a local favorite or discover something new, this series is the perfect excuse to relax, connect, and enjoy a night outdoors.
Here’s what’s on the schedule —
- June 2 — Feel Good YaYas are Kathy Vos, Emily Outland, and Dennis McIntire playing a unique and possibly bizarre assortment of songs, from country to jazz.
- June 16 — Rich Swanger is a reflective, wry American folk storyteller, weaving myth, memory, and musical lineage into songs that explore the tension between control, fate, and revelation.
- June 30 — Jake & the Hill People combine profound lyrics with high-energy performance to transform any venue into a 1970’s Honky Tonk, bringing back the true meaning of country music.
- July 14 — THIS The Funk brings unbridled energy and infectious funk to the stage. Try not to dance, we dare you.
- July 28 — Dave’s Killer Band is a four-piece playing a smooth-to-funky blend of sophisticated jazz fusion, R&B, Yacht Rock, world grooves, and tastefully selected classics.
- August 11 — Water Street Project began as a group of guitar students jamming. Add a bassist and drummer, and the group transformed into a band playing classic rock crowd favorites.
- August 25 — PDX Preachers plays the blues with a high-energy style of harmonica.
- September 8 — Phoenix is a singer-songwriter duo who play folk and Americana and proclaim, “We simply play music that speaks to us.”
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Lively at the Mill.
