The Dreamiest Scoop

Sure, it might be cold out, but if Salem has taught us anything, it’s that there’s no wrong season for ice cream. There’s a particular kind of joy in treating yourself to something frosty while wrapped in a handknit scarf, bundled in a coat, and topped with a toque (a Canadian beanie, for those unfamiliar).

And Dreamies Creamery makes every bite worth it. That Strawberry Jam flavor? It is the jam: bright, sweet, and nostalgic. Peanut Butter Dreams, with its PB base swirled with Butterfinger pieces and chocolate chunks, is full-on comfort in a scoop. Cup of Joe hits a whole different note for those of us who crave coffee, and without a whisper of caffeine, it’s perfect at noon or at midnight.

But what makes Dreamies linger long after the last bite is what also makes it unique in its creation: the local sheep’s milk. It’s naturally creamy, naturally sweet, easier on the stomach for many folks, and packed with nearly twice the protein, vitamins, and calcium of other milks. And it makes for ice cream that doesn’t just taste good, it feels good.

Dreamies isn’t just ice cream. It’s winter happiness. A tiny rebellion against the chill. Joy in a cone (or cup), served with heart.
