Through October, the City of Salem is hosting free, all-ages concerts at 8 p.m. on the first Friday of every month at the Gerry Frank | Salem Rotary Amphitheater in downtown Salem’s Riverfront Park.
Here’s the line-up —
June 3: Rich McCloud is a soulful singer/songwriter who combines rap, soul, hip-hop, pop, blues-rock, folk, poetry and a fiery spirit to bring inspiration to listeners worldwide.
July 1: Wild Ire is a 5-piece independent alt-rock band playing a fusion of pop-rock and progressive music influenced by a love of jazz and funk making tunes with something for everyone to enjoy.
August 5: The Ferenjis are a four-piece funk/fusion band bringing in influences of soul and jazz to the stage to deliver goovin’ tunes that will make you want to dance.
September 2: Showtigers are a fuzzy, energetic, dynamic rock and roll trio with a wide range of musical influences, but one thing is guaranteed when Showtigers play live — fun!
October 7: Pachanga combines influences of Afro-Latin rhythms, Latin rock, American west coast and southern rock, and British songwriters to bring an energetic performance to the stage.
The concerts are a part of Salem’s First Friday Art Walk that takes place in downtown Salem.
