Visit Deepwood Museum & Garden during the historic estate’s Holiday Open House 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3.
Hand-made ornaments hang from trees scattered throughout the home, reminiscent of how the Victorians would have decorated for the holidays. Say hello to Santa Claus in the Front Parlor, and be greeted by hosts and hostesses dressed in Victorian attire within the home. There will be self-guided tours in lieu of full-fledged tours during this free event.
There will also be a mini holiday sale in the Solarium where you can shop for wreaths, tins of tea, teacups and more.
Enjoy holiday decorations throughout the home until January 14 when you take a museum home tour. Tours take place Wednesdays through Saturdays at 9, 10, 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Check Deepwood’s website calendar for any scheduled closures.
