Thirsty Thursday: Dante Zapata

Acoustic artist Dante Zapata is self-taught singer and guitar player who started learning the language of music around the age of 12. Dante's love of music is matched only by his passion for family and Oregon wine country. He has performed national and internationally in France, Switzerland, Seattle, California, Colorado, Tennessee, South Carolina, and New York. Dante brings a soft, soulful vibe to the tasting room, playing everything from blues to country, jazz to gospel, in his words, "music for soul."

Performances will take place inside the tasting room during winter weather months and then out on the patio as soon as the weather allows. The tasting room is open from 12-5 pm with music from 2-4 pm. Seating both indoors and on the patio will be on a first-come, first-served basis (feel free to bring your own chairs.) For groups of 6 or more, please contact Chemeketa Cellars for reserved seating. Award-winning, student-made wine along with beer, cider and charcuterie platters are available in the tasting room, or bring your own picnic.
