Judith H. Montgomery’s poems appear in the Tar River Poetry, Epiphany, Poet Lore, and elsewhere. Her chapbook Passion received the Oregon Book Award for Poetry. Her second full-length collection, Litany for Wound and Bloom, a finalist for the Marsh Hawk Prize, appeared in 2018. Her prize-winning narrative medicine chapbook, Mercy (2019) was followed by The Ferry Keeper (Grayson Books 2024 Chapbook Prize).
For the month of November the Salem Poetry Project will meet at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The restaurant’s address is 300 Liberty St SE, Salem and the reading will be in the banquet room.
Each week the Salem Poetry Project presents a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: three poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
