Barbara Fealy and 20th Century Landscape Architecture
2025 Lecture Honoring Bobbie Dolp
2 p.m. Sunday, November 2 in the Dye House at Willamette Heritage Center.
Because of their mother's long-term leadership and commitment to the Lord & Schryver Conservancy, Bobbie Dolp's children sponsor an annual lecture in her honor. Each year, a dynamic speaker is selected to enlighten attendees about someone or something paramount to landscape architecture.
We are excited to announce this year's speaker is Mark R. Eischeid and his chosen topic is Barbara Fealy and 20th Century Landscape Architecture.
Barbara Fealy was an accomplished landscape architect and the first woman in Oregon elected as a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Like Lord and Schryver, she largely worked on private residence projects, but some of her notable public projects included the landscape design for Timberline Lodge, Portland Garden in Yurigahara Park in Sapporo, Japan and Salishan Resort.
A suggested donation of $10 toward the mission of the Lord & Schryver Conservancy may be made at the event. RSVP to Info@LordSchryver.org to save your seat for this program.
