Read all about it! The book giveaway for the 2023 Salem Reads program takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Salem Public Library main branch at 585 Liberty St SE and 12 p.m. at the West Salem Branch Library, 395 Glen Creek Rd NW.
Trevor is a South African comedian, television and radio host, and actor. He currently hosts The Daily Show, a late-night television talk show on Comedy Central. Born a Crime is his best-selling memoir which tells the story of his early life as the child of a white Swiss father and a black Xhosa mother, born in South Africa during the waning days of apartheid.

Choose a print book in Spanish or English for adults or It’s Trevor Noah, adapted for young readers (age 9-14) in English. Limit one book per visitor while supply lasts.
The book can also be purchased at Friends Bookstore, The Book Bin and Reader’s Guide. And multiple copies of the eBook and eAudiobook are available to download and enjoy on the cloudLibrary and Libby apps.
Salem Reads is a community-wide reading project that invites everyone in Salem to read the same book, take part in discussions, and enjoy related programs, runs throughout the month of February.Â
