Cruise Into Summer at Salem’s Classic Car Shows

Whether you’re into polished classics, custom builds, muscle cars, motorcycles, low riders, imports, or just appreciate a good excuse to wander around looking at cool vehicles, Salem’s summer calendar is packed with opportunities to admire automotive craftsmanship and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Grab a coffee, bring the family, and cruise through one—or all—of these events.

Admire vintage vehicles, enjoy live music from Blacksmith Neighbors, and spend a summer evening among the vines at Cruise In with the Classics. 4:30 to 8 p.m. Jul 17 at West Hills Vineyard, 4785 Salem Dallas Hwy NW.

Some car shows are about what’s parked outside. The Brothers Collection Car Show includes what’s inside, too. Featuring more than 170 display vehicles along with admission to the Brothers Collection Museum, this is a dream day for anyone who appreciates automotive history, craftsmanship, and horsepower. Aug 2 at the Brothers Collection Museum. Click here for tickets.

From classics and modern muscle to lifted trucks and semis, the Minty & T Too Memorial Car Show brings together a mix of vehicles plus music, vendors, raffle prizes, and more, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug 2 at 4070 27th Ct SE.

Capitol Cruise invites vehicle owners and admirers alike to gather for an evening of cars, live music, food trucks, and community. Free. No registration required. Starting at 5 p.m. Aug 15 at 865 Marion St NE

Lowered suspensions, booming sound systems, custom builds, and festival energy take over when Hot Import Nights rolls into Salem. This car and culture showcase is a full-sensory experience featuring interactive attractions such as an audio competition and car limbo, plus live music, food, vendors, and more. 3 to 9 p.m. Aug 15 at Oregon State Fairgrounds. hinevents.com $

From classic cars and hot rods to motorcycles and modern muscle, Willamette Valley Street Rods’ annual Carousel Cruise showcases vintage vehicles from every era and style. There will also be valve cover races, vendors, food trucks, and more. Even if you can’t tell a carburetor from a cupholder, there’s plenty to admire. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug 29 at Riverfront Park. Fee to show a car; no cost to admire. wvsr.org
