Beginning Sourdough Class — Learn to make sourdough with Pointer Farms Bakery, who will show you the stress-free way to fit sourdough into your busy life. Class includes hands-on practice, a jar of starter, a loaf to take home and bake, the use of equipment (mixing bowl, flour sack towel, bench scraper, scoring tool, parchment paper) and ongoing support on your sourdough adventure. 1 to 3 p.m. Sept 26 at Chemeketa Cellars, 215 Doaks Ferry Road NW.
