The InstigatorSalem’s Riverfront Carousel will celebrate its 25th anniversary in June, and to mark the milestone, it invites the community to design a limited-edition commemorative token.
This free, community contest encourages artists of all ages to submit original artwork for consideration. Designs may be dropped off at the Carousel or emailed to the address on the submission form. The deadline to enter is March 15.
Entries will be reviewed by the Carousel’s founders and master artisans, who will select one winning design. The selected artist will be notified by April 15.
The winning design will be unveiled during the Carousel’s 25th Birthday Party at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at 101 Front St NE, where the artist will be recognized with a special gift from the Carousel’s artisans.Â
